In the words of Lieberman, "Washing Line is quite simply saying we are hanging the sea out to dry, with the same mundaneness as hanging our everyday washing on the line". Whether composed by the artist or simply an occurance, we do not know, but the political message of this work is powerful.

Linda Lieberman

Linda is a Photographer/Sculptor living and working in London. Born in Scotland her work draws its inspiration from the changing ecology and environment around her. Throughout her life, Linda has consistently worked at evolving her direction and style. Linda works with her photographic  images and sculpture to convey a strong message, that ecologically man cannot ignore what feeds him socially, politically, economically and spiritually.
