Mike Wilks is a celebrated artist, illustrator and author of nine books including two global bestsellers The Ultimate Noah’s Ark and The Ultimate Alphabet, which was a New York Times bestseller and Sunday Times bestseller for 57 weeks with over 750,000 copies sold worldwide.
After setting up and running his own successful design consultancy TWD in 1970, he devoted his time to painting and writing. His original paintings and drawings, which have a surreal and dreamlike quality with a disturbing undertone, have been attained by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, as well as many private collections.
Now living in London, Wilk’s continues to produce illustrated books and novels, commissioned commercial illustration work and fine art paintings
