Eric Richmond has lived and worked in London for nearly 30 years.
Raised in Rome by an opera singer father, and an artist mother, he has travelled the globe photographing performing artists in places as diverse as India, Argentina, and S. Africa.
Eric trained at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, and assisted a variety of photographers both in Los Angeles and New York City. Beginning his career in Milan, he moved to London in 1984; since then he has worked for many publications, record companies, dance companies , theatre companies and performance venues, producing an array of material to promote their productions. A 20 foot print of one of Eric’s photos for the Royal Ballet was hung on the Royal Opera House after its refurbishment to announce its re-opening.
